The problem

Cracked Welds, Ugly Beads, Warped Parts

A weak joint fails in the field. A rough bead costs you hours of grinding. Too much heat warps the whole frame.

With YiguProto as your China manufacturer and supplier, you get one accountable partner from quote to delivery.

  • Weld procedures written before the first arc
  • Jigs and fixtures to control distortion
  • Inspection reports on every batch

The basics

What Is Welding — and How Do We Pick a Process?

Welding melts two pieces of metal so they fuse into one. The right process depends on the material, the thickness and the finish you need.

Welding joins metal by heat and pressure, with or without a filler. The result is one solid piece — stronger than bolts or glue.

Different jobs need different processes. Thin sheet burns through with too much heat. Thick plate needs more power and more passes.

We match the process to your part, so the joint is strong, clean and repeatable — batch after batch.

Thin sheet Under 2 mm TIG / Laser Medium plate 2 – 6 mm MIG Thick section Over 6 mm MIG multi-pass Sheet stacks Lap joints, no filler Spot

One Solid Piece

A welded joint is stronger and more rigid than bolts or fasteners.

Fewer Parts

Weld instead of bolting, and you cut part count and assembly time.

Clean Finish

Tidy beads and smooth blending mean less grinding and rework.

Repeatable

Written procedures keep batch 1 and batch 100 the same.

Processes

Six Welding Processes Under One Roof

We do not force one process onto every job. We pick the one that fits your part, so you get welding solutions built around your design.

TIG

TIG Welding (GTAW)

Best for: thin metal & neat beads

Clean, precise welds with a stable arc. Great for stainless and aluminium.

MIG

MIG Welding (GMAW)

Best for: speed & strength

A fast, strong process for steel, stainless and aluminium at volume.

SPOT

Spot Welding

Best for: sheet stacks

Joins overlapping sheets with no filler and very little distortion.

LASER

Laser Welding

Best for: tiny heat zone

A narrow weld with almost no distortion — ideal for precise, small parts.

STUD

Stud Welding

Best for: fasteners on sheet

Fixes studs and pins to sheet fast, with a clean, uniform fillet.

ROBOT

Robotic Welding

Best for: repeat production

The same weld, every time. Ideal for frames and parts made in volume.

Quality

How We Prove the Weld Is Good

You should not have to guess whether a joint is sound. We check it and show you the results.

Written Weld Procedures

Every job follows a set procedure, so the weld is repeatable, not guesswork.

Visual & Dimensional

We check bead size, position and part dimensions against your drawing.

Dye Penetrant

A quick test that finds surface cracks and porosity before parts ship.

Leak & Strength Testing

For tanks and pressure parts, we test for leaks and joint strength.

Industries

Welded Parts for Demanding Industries

We build frames, enclosures and assemblies for teams that cannot afford a failed joint.

Aerospace

Light, strong frames and brackets in aluminium and titanium.

Aerospace parts →

Automotive

Chassis parts, brackets and fixtures for prototypes and production.

Automotive parts →

Medical

Clean stainless welds with full traceability for equipment and frames.

Medical parts →

Robotics

Stiff, accurate frames and mounts that hold position over time.

Robotics parts →

New Energy

Battery trays, racks and enclosures for clean-energy equipment.

New energy parts →

Industrial Parts

Machine guards, bases and frames built to your drawing.

Finishing

Post-Weld Finishing Without the Extra Freight

Grinding, heat treatment and coating all happen in the same factory, so parts do not travel between shops. It is one complete set of fabrication solutions.

Grinding & Blending

We smooth the bead until the joint blends into the surface.

Brushed finish →

Heat Treatment

Stress relief that stops parts from moving after welding.

Heat treatment →

Powder Coating

A tough, even colour coat that protects the whole assembly.

Powder coating →

Passivation

Cleans stainless welds and restores their corrosion resistance.

Save money

Four Ways to Lower Your Welding Cost

Small design choices cut the price without weakening the joint.

Design for the Process

Match the joint to a standard process instead of a one-off setup.

Cut Unneeded Welds

Fewer joints mean less labor and less heat going into the part.

Keep Finishes Simple

Ask only for the blending or coating the part really needs.

Order the Right Volume

Fixtures pay off across a batch. A slightly larger run spreads the cost.

FAQ

Welding — Frequently Asked Questions

We offer TIG, MIG, spot, stud, laser and robotic welding. We pick the process that fits your material, thickness and finish, so you get the right joint, not just a fast one.
Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, copper, brass, titanium and nickel alloys. Send your drawing and we will confirm the best filler and shielding gas.
Every weld is checked against a written weld procedure. We use AWS-based standards, visual inspection, dye penetrant and leak testing, and we can supply inspection reports with your order.
Yes. For thin material we use TIG or laser welding, which put less heat into the part. This keeps the sheet flat and avoids burn-through on thin gauges.
We use jigs and fixtures to hold parts in place, control the heat going in, and weld in a balanced sequence. That keeps distortion low so the finished assembly stays in tolerance.
Send your drawings or 3D files. Most quotes come back within a few hours on business days, never more than 24 hours.
Yes. All customer files and ideas are treated as confidential. We sign NDAs when needed.
Typical lead time is 3 to 8 business days for welded parts, depending on quantity and complexity.
