MJF 3D Printing Service — YiguProto China
Strong nylon parts in 80-micron layers — no supports, no tooling, no minimum order. Our own factory in Dongguan, China prints, finishes, and inspects every part before it ships. Send your file and get a factory-direct quote with free DFM feedback within 24 hours.
The Problem
MJF is fast and strong. It also has traps. Here is what goes wrong — and how our China manufacturing company fixes it.
MJF is priced by the build box, not just material. Suppliers bury that and the invoice surprises you.
Big, flat, or thin parts curl while they cool. The build fails and you lose a week.
As-printed MJF has a grainy, sandy feel. Some parts need much better.
Hollow parts need escape holes. Without them, loose powder stays sealed inside forever.
Tolerance grows with part size. Small parts hold tight. Large ones drift.
You need 200 parts now. Injection molding wants weeks of lead time and thousands in tooling.
MJF 101
MJF stands for Multi Jet Fusion. It is a 3D printing process that builds strong plastic parts from nylon powder. A thin layer of powder is spread across a build bed. A printhead rolls over it and drops a fusing agent exactly where your part should be.
Then a heat lamp passes over the bed. The powder melts and fuses only where the agent was applied. The bed drops, a fresh layer of powder goes down, and the cycle repeats. Layer by layer, your part grows inside a solid block of powder.
Here is why that matters. The loose powder around your part holds it in place. So no support structures are needed. Complex shapes, nested parts, and even moving assemblies can all be printed in one build — with no tooling and no setup cost.
Capabilities
Real numbers, so you can spec your part before you send the file.
380 × 285 × 380 mm. Many smaller parts nest into one build.
80 microns (0.08 mm) per layer, on every layer of the build.
±0.3 mm or ±0.3% of the part size, whichever is larger.
0.5 mm walls and features. 1.0 mm recommended for reliability.
PA12, PA11, glass-filled nylon, polypropylene, and flexible TPU.
Grainy and matte as printed. Bead blast, dye, or vapor smooth.
Parts in as fast as 3 days. Standard orders run 2–5 business days.
1 part to 10,000+ per order. No tooling and no minimum order.
Our Solutions
Eight MJF services and solutions under one roof. Print, finish, inspect, and ship from one place.
Prove fit and function in real nylon before you spend money on a mold.
Need parts now while the mold is being built? MJF fills the gap.
100 to 10,000 durable parts with zero tooling cost.
Lightweight, tough manufacturing aids built in days, not weeks.
Snap-fit covers, brackets, and ducting with no supports needed.
PA11 and PA12 handle repeated flexing and clipping without cracking.
Strong internal lattice structures that cut weight and material use.
Threaded inserts, tapping, and sub-assembly done before shipping.
Materials
Eight industrial-grade plastics. Pick one, or ask us to recommend.
The workhorse. Strong, tough, and right for most general parts.
Dyed black for a clean look. The best pick for living hinges.
More flexible and impact-resistant. Great for snap fits and clips.
40% glass bead. Stiffer, more stable, and heat resistant.
Vapor smoothed for a sealed, semi-gloss, easy-clean surface.
Chemical resistant. Good for fluid, fuel, and lab parts.
Rubber-like and flexible. Grippers, seals, and wearables.
Full-color parts for realistic concept models and demos.
Not sure which grade fits your part? Send the drawing and we will match the material to your strength, heat, and flex needs.
Finishing
As-printed MJF is grainy. These finishes make it usable, durable, and good-looking.
Our standard finish. Removes loose powder and evens out the texture.
Seals the surface and cuts roughness for a smooth, semi-gloss look.
Tumbling media softens edges and smooths the grainy surface.
Black, blue, red, green, or yellow. Dye sinks 0.25–0.5 mm deep.
Primed and painted parts for visible or branded products.
Real cut or formed threads for screws, not just pilot holes.
Metal inserts pressed in for strong, reusable threads.
Sub-assembly, sorting, and custom packing before it ships.
Industries
We supply manufacturers, OEMs, and product companies across eight industries. One supplier, one point of contact.
Surgical guides, orthotics, and device housings. ISO 13485 programs.
Brackets, ducting, clips, and under-hood prototypes.
Lightweight brackets, drone frames, and air ducting.
End-effectors, grippers, and custom fixtures built fast.
Housings, wearables, and enclosures with working snap fits.
Covers, mounts, jigs, and housings for devices and boards.
Machine guards, jigs, and hard-to-source replacement parts.
Battery brackets, cable guides, and prototype housings.
Why YiguProto
Eight hard reasons why buyers leave their old supplier and stay with us.
Send STEP, STL, IGES, or 3MF. Your itemized quote lands in 24 hours.
Rush parts ship in as little as three business days.
Fine layers mean finer detail and a better surface out of the machine.
Held on the dimensions that decide whether your part works.
No molds, no fixtures, no minimum order. One part or ten thousand.
ISO 13485-aligned documentation available for medical programs.
We handle export, freight, customs, and last-mile to your dock.
Talk directly with the people printing your parts, not a reseller.
How It Works
Send the file. Get a number. Get the parts.
Upload STEP, STL, IGES, 3MF, or a PDF drawing with quantity and material.
An itemized price, plus checks on wall thickness, escape holes, and orientation.
Parts built in 80-micron layers, de-powdered, then finished to your spec.
Every part checked and packed, then shipped worldwide with reports.
Not Sure Which Process?
Each process has a job. Here is the short version.
Both use nylon powder and need no supports. MJF is the newer, faster process.
Pick MJF for speed, consistency, and volume.
FDM pushes melted plastic through a nozzle. MJF fuses powder in a bed.
Pick MJF for working parts and small batches.
SLA cures liquid resin with a laser. MJF fuses nylon powder with heat.
Pick MJF for parts that must actually work.
Molding is cheaper per part at high volume. MJF has no tooling at all.
Pick MJF for prototypes, pilots, and bridge runs.
Still not sure? Send us the part and we will recommend the process that costs less and performs better for your application.
