Surface finish
Chemical plating deposits metal without electricity. It gives an even coat on complex shapes and inside holes.
What it is
Chemical plating (also called electroless deposition) uses a chemical reaction to plate metal onto a part. No electric current is needed. Because there is no current, the coating is very even across the whole surface, including recesses and internal bores.
How it works
Clean & activate
We remove oil and oxides and activate the surface.
Catalyze
A catalyst prepares the surface to accept deposition.
Immersion in bath
The chemical bath deposits metal autocatalytically.
Rinse & inspect
We rinse, measure thickness, and inspect.
Why choose it
Uniform thickness on complex shapes.
Seals the base metal from rust.
Deposited alloys are hard and low-friction.
Plates non-conductors after seeding.
Typical specs

| Base materials | Steel, aluminium, copper, plastic (seeded) |
Best applications
Internal bores need even coating.
EMI shielding and contacts.
Wear-resistant working surfaces.
Parts with recesses and threads.
