Overview
PF (phenolic) is a heat-proof, electrical-grade plastic. We mold it into stable, flame-safe parts.
PF (Phenolic, also called Bakelite) is a thermoset plastic. It resists heat, fire, and electricity, and keeps its shape under load.
We melt plastic resin and inject it into a steel mold to form identical parts.
High-volume parts with consistent size and finish, made to your drawing.
Specifications
Typical reference values for PF (Phenolic) through injection molding. Final numbers can vary with grade and part shape.

Values are typical reference data and may vary with grade, heat treatment, and part geometry. Tell us your needs and we will confirm exact specs.
Why PF
Stays stable at high temperature.
Blocks current, even when hot.
Naturally self-extinguishing.
Holds shape under load.
Material Options
We stock common grades. Tell us your need and we will pick the right one.
Standard phenolic grade.
Stronger and more stable.
For higher-temperature use.

Our engineers check wall thickness, draft, and gates. We suggest changes that cut cost.
We design and build the steel mold that shapes your part.
We melt the resin and inject it into the mold, then cool and eject the part.
We check dimensions and quality, then pack and ship worldwide.
Applications
Switches, sockets, and holders.
Heat-proof components.
Under-hood and connector parts.
Stable, chemical-proof fittings.
Design Tips
New to this process? These simple rules help your part turn out well and cost less.
Use a steady wall thickness so the part fills evenly and warps less.
A small draft (1–2°) on vertical faces helps the part release from the mold.
Plastics shrink as they cool. We size the mold to land on your final dimensions.
Finishes
The natural molded surface straight from the tool. Lowest cost.
A custom color coat for branding or looks.
A matte or patterned surface for grip or style.
A glossy protective layer for a premium look.
Why YiguProto
