Industry Solutions
A great light is part engineering, part art. We make the parts behind both — heat sinks that keep LEDs cool, housings with clean lines, and lenses and diffusers that shape the light.
Factory-direct CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding and sheet metal fabrication. From a first appearance model to full production runs. Free DFM feedback with every quote.
Industry Application
We supply luminaire makers, LED module brands and lighting installers. These are the components our shops produce most often for the lighting sector:
Machined and extruded aluminum heat sinks that keep LED modules cool and bright.
Machined or molded housings and shades with clean lines and a premium finish.
Clear PMMA and PC lenses and diffusers that control beam angle and light spread.
5-axis machined and polished reflectors for precise, efficient beam control.
Decorative trims, bezels and rings in aluminum or plated plastic.
Ceiling plates, brackets and clips that hold fixtures safely in place.
End caps, covers and back plates that close off the fixture cleanly.
Housings and pots for LED drivers and power supplies.
How we help
Lighting parts must manage heat, shape light, and look beautiful on the ceiling. We understand all three — and we build them in one place.
Heat shortens LED life. Our engineers review fin layout, material and finish before you commit.
Clear lenses, diffusers and polished surfaces that pass light without haze or scratches.
Fast quotes and short lead times, so your lighting line never waits.
One accountable partner from appearance model to production — machining, molding, finishing and assembly.
Solution 01 · CNC Machining
CNC machining gives lighting parts tight fits, clean edges and a premium finish. We machine aluminum and plastic heat sinks, housings, reflectors and mold inserts — from first samples to volume orders.
Machined aluminum heat sinks with fin layouts that pull heat away from LED modules.
Lamp housings and 5-axis machined reflectors with the smooth surfaces optics need.
Polished mold inserts for lens making, plus bezels, trims and mounting hardware.
| Best for | Heat sinks, housings, reflectors, trim and mold inserts |
|---|---|
| Materials | Aluminum 6061 & 6063, stainless steel, brass, PMMA, PC |
| Processes | 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis milling; CNC turning; wire EDM; polishing |
| Surface finish | Anodizing, powder coating, polishing, brushing |
| Tolerances | Tight tolerances on mounting and optical surfaces — confirmed in your free DFM review |
| Quantities | From 1 prototype piece to full production runs |
| Turnaround | Quotes within 24 hours; prototypes typically ship in days |
Solution 02 · 3D Printing
Lighting is where art meets science — and you cannot judge a light from a drawing alone. 3D printing puts a real fixture in your hands in days. It is perfect for appearance models, optical prototypes and short custom runs.
Hand-held prototypes with real surface finish, so you can judge look and light output early.
Organic shapes, honeycomb textures and one-off fixtures sized to a specific space.
Small batches and custom lighting for a building or event — without paying for mold tooling.
| Best for | Prototypes, appearance models, optical models and short custom runs |
|---|---|
| Processes | SLA (clear resin), SLS, MJF, FDM, and SLM metal printing |
| Materials | Clear resin, nylon (PA12), ABS-like and PC-like plastics, TPU, aluminum |
| Details | Clear and translucent parts let you test diffusion and beam patterns before molding |
| Quantities | 1 piece to small batches — no tooling, no minimum order |
| Turnaround | Typically days — the fastest way to see your design lit up |
Solution 03 · Injection Molding
When your lighting design is approved and demand grows, injection molding gives the lowest cost per piece. We build the mold, run pilot parts, then deliver consistent quality in volume — lenses, diffusers, housings and more.
Clear PMMA and PC lenses, diffusers and light guides molded with polished optical surfaces.
ABS, PC and PP housings and covers — textured, glossy or matte — ready for assembly.
Soft-touch over-molding, metal inserts and 2K parts for premium fixtures.
| Best for | Lenses, diffusers, housings and small parts in volume |
|---|---|
| Processes | Rapid tooling, production molds, over-molding, insert molding, 2K, transparent molding |
| Materials | PMMA, PC, ABS, PP, PA, PBT, TPU, TPE |
| Tooling | Polished optical tooling; aluminum bridge tooling for pilots; hardened steel for production |
| Quantities | From pilot runs to millions of pieces |
| Turnaround | Prototype parts in days; production timing follows the tooling build |
Solution 04 · Sheet Metal
Industrial and commercial fixtures live in sheet metal. We laser-cut, bend and finish aluminum and steel into housings, brackets and ceiling plates — with no tooling for prototypes and fast turnaround on single pieces or volume orders.
Troffer bodies, high bay housings and panel frames cut and bent from aluminum or steel.
Ceiling plates, mounting brackets and junction boxes that hold fixtures securely.
End caps, back plates and covers that close the fixture and hide the wiring.
| Best for | Housings, brackets, ceiling plates, end caps and covers |
|---|---|
| Processes | Laser cutting, CNC bending, punching, welding and assembly |
| Materials | Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper |
| Surface finish | Powder coating, anodizing, electroplating, brushing |
| Quantities | Single prototypes to volume — laser-cut parts need no tooling |
| Turnaround | Quotes within 24 hours; prototypes typically ship in days |
Decision Guide
Still not sure? Send us your part and our engineers will recommend the best route — often a smart mix of processes inside one fixture.
| Process | Best for | Typical materials | Quantity | Tooling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CNC machining | Heat sinks, housings, reflectors and precise metal parts | Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, PMMA, PC | 1 – 10,000+ pcs | None — programmed from your CAD file |
| 3D printing | Prototypes, appearance models, complex shapes, short custom runs | Clear resin, nylon, ABS/PC-like plastics, TPU, aluminum | 1 – small batches | None |
| Injection molding | Lenses, diffusers and housings in volume at the lowest cost per piece | PMMA, PC, ABS, PP, PA, PBT, TPU, TPE | Pilot runs to millions | Mold required — we build and maintain it |
| Sheet metal | Housings, brackets, ceiling plates and covers | Aluminum, steel, stainless steel | 1 – volume | None for laser-cut prototypes |
How we work
You always know where your project stands. Here is the path most lighting projects follow with us:
Send 2D drawings or 3D models (STEP, STP, IGES, STL). Tell us the quantity and where the fixture will be used.
Our engineers review the design — including thermal and optical needs — and return a quote within 24 hours.
We make a first sample so you can see the light in real life. You approve look, fit and light output before production.
We confirm the process with a small batch. Adjustments to design, material or finish happen here — while change is still cheap.
We scale up with stable quality and on-time delivery. Inspection reports travel with every batch.
Quality & Trust
Good lighting parts are proven, not promised. Our quality system checks every stage, so your fixtures perform on the first install and the thousandth.
Material certificates for every lot, so what arrives matches what you ordered.
A full dimensional check on the first piece before the run begins.
Operators verify critical features during the run — not only at the end.
Dimensional and inspection documentation with every order. Your files stay confidential.
Materials & Finishes
Material choice decides how a fixture handles heat, impact and light. Tell us your conditions, and we will suggest a grade that fits your budget.
